Any exercise that exercises multiple body parts. Rowing does parts of upper, abs and lower plus is a good cardiovascular exercise.

Exercise cannot be generalised for all..
Depending on what part of ur body u need to tone or where u need to lose weight, ur exercise regime will vary.
But mostly,all physical trainers suggest a 30 min low intensity cardio for fat burning and 45 minute weight training for muscle sculpting includint a 10 min cardio in the end.

i would go with basketball...in a full court setting like 5 on 5 bball
its a complete body workout
and more rigorous than swimming alone

Swimming definitely. I also like running a lot but it is less kinder on the joints.

Swimming. It uses all muscle groups and is extremely low impact.
