a sense of humor? I mean as I look around me and the people ....and laughter is the best medicine, they must have, right?

If you met my oldest brother (51), you'd swear they do.
He's a Holy Roller that would remind you of Barny Fife on the Andy Griffith Show. A little kid with a mouth and a Bible.
Andy always said he thought of Barneys' role as something like that.

I agree. however, you must admit that some comedy is irreverant. I wouldn't think God approves of a joke about child molesting or racial discrimination. And don't think people refrain from laughing at these subjects. They do and it may be inappropriate.
But again, I agree in the sense of reverent and light-hearted humor. That which doesn't degrade and will uplift the spirit.
I am in medicine and doctors use humor often to help people through stressful times.

If they exist, they MUST have a sense of humor -- with all the silly things in the bible!
Then again, their sense of humor could be awfully warped -- if they get any enjoyment out of the mess their religions have made here on earth, fighting and killing over who believes the right thing, killing people in suicide attacks to get a bunch of virgins in heaven, etc. -- then their sense of humor is pretty darn sick.

Of course God has a sense of humor, Jesus too.
God created things like the giraffe, the hippo, the llama...those are funny looking animals.
I'm sure Jesus laughed with his disciples, and with his family...he was fully human, so he had all of the emotions we have.
