I think God is more forgiven then I am of myself, I will ask God to forgive me, and know he has, but I have a hard time forgiving myself?

I would have to say yes. For all the suffering in the world. But it has to be to let humans know not all is up to me in some ways. He has given us the knowledge to correct the things that happen. We put our faith in HIM and expect everything to be perfect. But in some ways it is up to us to do the right thing.
