Not as good as fresh shrimp but shrimp can be frozen a thawed out after 18 months and that typically what you'll find in restaurants.

Everyone has different tastes but usually fresh shrimp tastes the best when boiled, thawing frozen shrimp before you boil it might give it a freezer taste.

Well, all I have to say is not to eat the shrimp raw. I did it once as a dare and it didn't taste so good. The frozen shrimp should taste good still, it may not taste as fresh however. Good luck on your meal.

Dont boil but simmer for only like 3 minutes add some Old Bay seasoning, bay leaves and lemon to the water before you add the shrimp. When the shrimp is finished, sprinkle with a liitle cajun spice. YUM!!!

if the shrimp is already cooked you dont need to boil it, just thaw it under running water and eat. It is delicious. if you really want the shrimp warm then run it under hot water for a while. You dont want to re cook it it will be rubbery. Just re warm it. If you want it cooked in a dish like scampy wait till the last second to put the thawed shrimp in and it will warm fast.

U are better off making ur recipe, then adding raw shrimp to it..either by a creamy sauce..EX shrimp alfredo, or as a cocktail..Boiled shrimp tastes ok, but has a rubbery texture

Frozen shrimp is usually frozen right after caught. So it actually tends to be even better than 'fresh' shrimp.

my guess is not as good - - nothing beats the fresh four bite shrimp that I get at the fisherman village. They bar bq it right there next to my table and it is wonderful.. you sit and watch the boats go out - they shoot off fireworks for good luck before embarking on some night fishing in the Gulf of Siam... but I hope your is lovely...

Please don't boil shrimp. A little olive oil - lots of fresh garlic and place shrimp in pan - once they turn white they are done.
Enjoy - if you boil them they will become 'chewy' and you will not like them.
Go to a website on cooking with shrimp...enjoy.

I had the best shrimp of my life last weekend and it was frozen. I didn't freeze it myself, however.

as long as you froze it well, it should be good. not as good as fresh, but almost as good. To freeze things well, they should freeze as quickly as possible (flash freezing)
