My buddy John has a f**king dirty apartment, his "new" girlfriend is coming. Is that a big deal to chicks if the apartment is nasty, ie clothes on the floor, maxims in the bathroom and a kitchen counter that has never seen a sponge

Depends- She may not mind, she may be a slob herself, she may see it as a fun challenge and project to clean his apt (and change his behavior), or she may be grossed out and leave.
It all depends on her personality and ability to cope!

Dirtiness is a total turn-off. He should at least tidy-up before his girlfriend comes over- as for the Maxims(they should be put at least in a drawer)- you never she maybe into that sort of thing if brought to her attention in a different way- The kitchen counter should be washed down or table cloth put over it- He should be trying to impress her not make her run. I am a female myself and would never step foot into fith whereas I lived that way all my life.

uhh yeah i mean you should clean up depending on the girl no one wants to brush chip bags off the couch before you sit down i mean dont you think so? try spraying fabreeze to get rid of the smell ( there must be a smell) and do the dishes and vacumm(if you have one that is) well good luck have a great day!

yeah, if you are embarrased at the appearance of your place then clean it. You should clean it anyway, how the hell were you raised as a child. Clean house shows good rearing. So yes it makes an impression, and we all know about first impressions. CLEAN YOUR HOUSE

Tell him to hire a housekeeper and QUICK! Yes, we do care what your place looks like! It is a reflection on you. It tells us that you care about neatness and can take care of yourself. We do not want to come in there and be your mother and pick up after you. John should be ashamed of himself....what would his momma say if she came over to that mess???

HUGE deal! We don't expect it to be spotless, but if it's a disaster area, we'll be super turned off. I've not called guys back because of disgusting cars or houses. And girls tend to snoop, so if you don't want her to see something, hide it well!!!
