No, If I thought it could be a long term relationship then I would have to seek another job.
Dating where you work with the people you work with.. only leads to problems. If you were to date the boss.. and it went sour.. I am sure you would be worried everyday afterwards waiting to get set up to fail which would lead to being fired!

My boss is 63 and married, he's great, and I like older men, but he's a bit old. I wouldn't rule it out as a rule though, with a different boss, if i liked him enough that I felt it was worth it.

Only if I had given my two weeks notice. That is a nightmare waiting to happen. If the relationship goes bad, you could end up fired, demoted, transferred, etc. or even in court.

he was kind of my boss, he was and still is my supervisor
only lasted a short while and thank god we are good enough friends not to have let that disasterous experience destroy our working enviroment
