Hot is that superficial phase that every boy and girl goes through in their adolescence. Hot only describes physical appearance, someone who is hot can be the world's biggest *****.
Beautiful is something that entrances not only the eyes, but the heart and mind as well. It is the feeling that you get when you see him/her and you just have no words to say except wow. That's beautiful.

CJ, I know you'll receive several answers to this question. But I need to just lend my voice by telling you that human beings are not robots or a kind of machine where you just need to program and that settles it. Rather, what makes a good match between a guy and a guy is neither all about beauty nor about hotness. Rather, it's the combination of both and with the 3rd parameter which you probably forgot to mention, that is, smartness. In summary, beauty and hotness can be merged as one parameter and the addition of smartness or intelligence will crown it up. A lady that possesses one but not the two is incomplete.
