In all of the travel books, I've seen several pictures of a large boat. I think it's docked near the Historical Property area. It resembles a Pirate ship. Are we able to go aboard/cruise the harbour in it? Any info on it would be appreciated!

Sail aboard eastern Canada’s largest three-masted schooner, the tall ship Silva. Built in 1939, Silva was re-furbished in 2001 and now offers comfortable seating, a licensed lounge and an unforgettable view of Halifax. Relax and enjoy the narrated tour or join a friendly crewmember and "learn the ropes." Onboard activities for children. Licensed, offering special evening cruises. Available for charter. May 15 to Oct. 31.

I just did this sail a few nights ago. Its only $15 for a two hour cruse around Halifax Harbour. Live band and a bar with good priced drinks. Better they paying six bucks to get into a pub downtown Halifax. Good luck and Have fun!!
