No but it is rude to throw a turkey sandwich at someone out of the blue.

If you're talking about walking up to a homeless guy/gal and offering them a wrapped Turkey Sandwich, then no you're not being rude. That would be considered a kind gesture, whether the homeless people take it or not.

As far as randomly walking into a a crowd of people and handing off the sandwich to anyone like, "Here buddy, hold this." and walking off...yes that would be rude.

If they are vegetarian and the chairman of the turkey rights committee, yes. It could also depend on the state of the sandwhich. Is it freshly made on premium bread or has it been nibbled, squashed, in your bag for a week, pecked at or have a hefty bite taken out suggesting it doesn't taste that great and you need to get rid of it.

I don't think it is rude but I do think it is kind of weird. I don't think I would eat something someone I did not know gave me.
