if your hair has natural red highlights and you don't want them your best answer is go to a salon. Almst any lightening process will make those highlights stand out and only a professional will be able to change that. If you do want to do it at home go with an ash blonde colour. an ash blonde will neutralize the red.

i have natural red high light too. I wanted my hair lighter and I tried Oxygen Peroxide (you know that water you use to cure scratches when you fall) iT'S GREAT AND CHEAP. It turns or hair into light brown and could make it blonde (that's if you keep on using it ALL the time)

For slow results: mix it with a lil bit of water and put in on for one day once a week.

quicker results: pure (without water) all day, once or twice a week.

I recommend a good conditioner

If you have dark hair and you are using peroxide, letting the sun lighten it or something from the drug store your hair will turn out orange or "red". It's best to have your hair lightened in a salon where they can eliminate the red. Over the counter products, so to speak, will not lighten your hair color enough to prevent red tones. Don't try to do it yourself.

well sorry there is nothing you can do, you don't want to dye it or sit in the sun or lemon juice. You're stuck with what you've got then, you are asking for a miracle.

Well since you took all options away...no color, sun or lemon juice then no.
