Is it still classified? Is America using that weapon also in the battlefield in Afghanistan and Iraq? Do other nations also possess that weapon?

The most powerful and divisive weapon that any army has is to instil hate and contempt for the supposed 'enemy' into its personnel. It is backed up, of course by weaponry and the army machinery masquerading as 'justice'. Now and again this machine chooses to sacrifice a few personnel for being caught demonstrating how they have been taught to think and behave. These 'investigations' are always made very public, so that the 'Hate Machine' can continue behind the scenes in secret. It's classified ... I shall not be surprised if I am mysteriously removed from Yahoo Answers for mentioning it. America and all other military powers possess and use that weapon.

Chemical weapons like Vx and Sarin which can kill millions with a few drops from an eye dropper. They are horrible, in some regards even more so than nukes, because in many cases they are delivered in spray form and are subject to the vagaries of the wind. The biggest defect they have is that they breakdown relatively quickly. When found recently in Iraq, that were less than 20 yrs old and were useless. Our nukes have lasted some 40 yrs. Biological weapons have never worked large scale on the battlefield, breakdown in the UV light in sunlight.

"An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come.", Victor Hugo.

Besides nuclear weapons, the most dangerous and powerfl weapon known to humanity is the power of an idea whose time has come. Look at the concept of suicide terrorism, or democracy in Eastern Europe.

The US military had such an idea with Star Wars and it worked against the Soviet Union. Sadly though, I do not see the same level of intelligence from the current US Secretary of Defence in regards to the power of ideas. That is why the US arsenal of ideas againt global terrorist ideas has been so poor.

Total warfare includes philosophical warfare as well.

If it was classified you wouldn't get an answer. Most NATO allies have an version of the fuel-air explosive. It is a cylindrical bomb that has a small drogue parachute. The explosion rivals small tactical nukes. The movie Outbreak shows the bomb wiping out a small African village to contain an hemoragic fever.
Space based kinetic weapons, although illegal, will be the ultimate in future weapons. Just ask the dinosaurs.

Besides Nuclear Weapons? A Nuclear Attack Submarine. The world is 3/4 water. A sub can operate in most of it. They can attack targets on the surface, on the land, other subs, and collect intel. They are stealthy, quiet, operate independenly and can operate as long as food and supliies last. This versitility makes it the most powerful weapon. Other nations such as France and the Uk do have them as well.

It's the American soldier. Chemo-biological warfare may or may not kill effectively. Even when it does, it an aribtrary weapon. No control over WHO it kills. A team of Rangers, Seals, or Delta dropped from an aircraft has the capacity to find and take out every left handed redhead in a combat zone, if that's what's needed. Till we develope mustache seeking missiles, this will always be the case.

I heard about the neutron bomb in the 1970's. When it explodes, it leaves the building relatively un-harmed, but it strips the skin off living things and kills them in a pretty gruesome way.

I think USSR only has this one.

Your back up could always be biological weapons. Small Pox, anthrax, etc. And who knows which countries declare that they have these??!!
