Are you kidding? it looks to me like the days proceeding September 11 should be religious intolerance years.
Ask all the Muslims and Sikhs who were beaten up and hospitalized after the attack.

Sept 11 is no more important then any other day in any other war. We tend to take it personally because it happened on our soil. WW2 we bombed the poo out of a lot of cities. Lots of civies died. That happens in war. If anything it should be a day that marks the decline of religion. If you take the religion out of the world, you will start to have peace. Today people cannot even do the right thing without saying it is because of gods will. Do things because you know they are right. And stop caring about who belives in what, and who does not. You will be alot happier.

In your dreams...the USA cannot go against it's own laws...and I hope will not for awhile. Though, they are getting a little more religious intolerant every year I think. Sad, that they become blind to true Christianity and who they are. Reminds me of some nation...never mind...

I do not think do because Christians are tolerant of other religions and patient with the unsaved. Our goal is to see persons go to heaven and not to hell. Your idea will just justify these fanatics. Maybe you should read Foxes Book of Martyrs, Hebrews, and the crucifixion of Christ.

No.
I know it was a terrible day....I was only miles from it at the time.
Thing is, it happened. We should get over the fact that it did happen and remember the innocent people that died. End of story.

No not in the least. The attack did not have religious motives but geographical ones instead.

On the contrary!
It should be celebrated as a Day of Peace and Unity...
...As a matter of fact, EVERY day should be so.
Isn't it about time?

Sure, why the heck not. It just goes to prove that no matter what religion you are, you can't tolerate someone else's religion. It's just a wonderful idea. (Can you sense the sarcasm?)
