There is a software called 'Typing Tutor' a free software downloadable from download.com
There is also one more software called 'Ten Thumbs'.Google it to find out more.

There is a program I know of called Typing Tutor which has been produced for that purpose although I find myself that its just as easy to play music on a radio or the computer and sit and type out the song words as fast as I can which costs nothing - free but has the same outcome.

learn to type without looking at the keyboard. If you have window xp do this:
go to Start, then all programs, then assesories, then accesibility, then narrator, click OK, then click read type charachters.
then go to a word document and start typing. Don't look at the key board, the narrator will announce the characters you type. have fun(will take practice)

there is a typing game in Yahoo games that you can play at your leisure time to help your typing skill
The game is call type shark I think, you have to type short words to zap the shark that's coming to devour your character.
It should help and have fun at the same time.

well theres a thing called speech recognition which means with a special program, your computer will type what u say! to get hold of this go to ebay or amazon and type "speech recognition"

well there is serten programs but i would say that your best bet is to just practic! i mean i ust to type super slow intill i just started to practic and when you really think about it your practicing when ever you get onto the computer. :) so.... yeah now i can type with out looking onto the keybaurd! :) good luck!:)

yahoo or msn have a game where you can type to practice... it's called like typer shark or something... it's fun and it tells you how many words you type a minute and helps you practice
