Christianity gives me piece of mind because I know God will give me everything I need. "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."(Psalm 34:10)
Christian is not a pride thing. It is a letting God love you thing. "Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil."1 Timothy 3:6
Christianity effect everything that I do. The bible tells us to "Pray without ceasing."(1 Thessalonians 5:17) and "..but they that seek the LORD understand all things."(Proverbs 28:5) so Christian should put god 1st in everything they do and accept every thing that God has done for us. but that can be hard sometime.
One can not leave Christianity! When someone accept Jesus "...he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."(2 Corinthians 5:17) a true christian who trays and leave Christianity is just going to be a unhappy christian because God made them "a new creature" and they know that have to turn back to God to have piece in this life.

I have recently come to a place in my journey where I am once again willing and able to call myself a Christian. This has not always been the case. For a long while I was an atheist, then spiritual but not religious, and now I consider myself an agnostic, progressive, non-traditional Christian.
To me, being a Christian is defined as "one who professes to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ" (see source below). Notice that there is nothing about believing in God, Satan, heaven, hell, the resurrection, etc. That is very important because it narrows the focus of Christianity to what all religions are essentially about: love.
The lessons that Jesus fought so hard to teach us are love, tolerance, charity, liberty, and justice. For everyone. That is one thing that makes me proud of being a Christian. Another is that there are so many people fighting the good fight. These are not necessarily the kinds of people that come to mind when we hear the term "Christian," infact, they are often considered by others to be blasphemous heathens, but nevertheless, by my working definition, they are Christian.
Christianity affects my life in that it guides every choice I make. Is what I'm doing loving, kind, charitable? Does it promote peace, liberty, and justice?
One key point to religion is that it should always be under evaluation. If one cannot or will not question their beliefs and periodically (at least) re-evaluate them, then how or why does one know what they believe? So, I cannot say that I will always and forever be a Christian, but that does seem the likely course at this point. I have already left Christianity and returned once I was shown the path to follow. I may again, I've no idea what the future holds which is one of the best things about life.

Christianity means to me that I have salvation and a God that's on my side. I've felt the power of the Holy Spirit moving within me. I've felt the guiding presence of the Father that has allowed me to lead a happier, more peaceful life. I don't know that I feel incredible pride being a Christian, but I'm not ashamed by any means. I just don't feel the need to be pride or boast on something that so many persecute. I thought of leaving Christianity for a moment a long time ago. I was a year away from totally turning my back on God when I found my current church and I can honestly tell you that there is not a moment now that I've ever thought about turning away from my faith.

I left...and came back. I was a Christian, or so I thought, then I began practicing Druidism. The entire time, I thought about "how I could incorporate GOD in my new found faith." See, I am a Christian. I am proud of it now more than ever, because I have experienced HIM for myself. Not everybody who proclaims that they are under HIS name can say that. I have felt HIS touch, I have seen HIS miracles, I have experienced HIS glory in my short 18 years....Now, do I ever think about converting again? No way...I've tried to do without HIM befor and it didn't work.
Why am I so proud? B/c I am convinced that HE is REAL...No one can take that from me...no philosophy, ideology, or religion.
Be Blessed,

The thought of God makes me proud to be a Christian. Christianity affected my life deeply because I believe that I would be a murderer if I wasn't a Christian. I had a troubled childhood and God was with me all the time.

What does Christianity mean to me? - For me it's all about Christ rather than Christianity. Because Christianity is all about our relationship with Christ and because man is party to this relationship then there is bound to be too much of us and too little of Him involved. In my opinion there is far too much opinion involved in Chistianity.
Having said that, it seems to me that people (in these end times)are once again seeking to know the truth that can only be found in Christ, and as a result we are slowly seeing a transformation in God's church. More and more people these days (myself amoungst them) are able to say with confidence that their relationship with Christ means everything to them because they know that God feels the same way.
What makes me proud to be a Christian? - Pride is not a word I would associate with being Christian. Becuse pride is all about being self centred instead of being God centred, pride draws us away from God and into sin. I believe that a Christian's relationship with God should transcend feelings of pride, it nonetheless remains a problem for all mankind, Christian or otherwise.
I would like to say that being a Christian affects every part of my life, it's what gives my life purpose. With God's help I will continue to be transformed through the renewing of my mind.
Since becoming a born again Christian, I have not entertained thoughts of ever leaving Christ.

Being a Christian is one who has been saved by the Grace of God. You seek His will for your life. You become a new person. You no longer enjoy sin, or being around it. God puts a new song in your heart. One who wants to serve Him. You have a desire to go out and tell others how much God loves them, and how to be saved. You put your Faith and Trust in the Lord. I would never change anything about how i feel about God. I Love Him with all my heart. Jesus is my everything.

To me Christianity means a new way of living my life, it's reflecting who Christ is and what He represents. Love.
The fact that God sent His only son to die for me and as me makes me proud to be a christian.
Christianity affect my life immensly, the fact is you can't continue living the same old life doing the same old things but must accept the changes that God makes in our lives.
there is never a thought of leaving christianity in mind.
A true christian is one who lives his life for the Lord, being the reflection of Christ on the earth.

It means everything!! Walk the second mile ,and though not easy, try to do what the Savior did.
Asking the question: "What would Jesus do?", often leads me to a Christian action. And this affects everything in my life. Once you know, you can't leave it.
