we had a very annoying neighbour, and she would call the police every time someone would burp, lol, so she called one day to complain to me at my work, about something that was happening at home, i am a daughter to the owner of the home, and she didn't even call my mom, well any ways, i told her that every time she called the police they had a record of her calling, and i had asked them if they did, and if they kept it on record, and they did, and i told her that next time she calls the police i am going to press harassment charges on her for harassing my family so much, and that because she called the police all i had to do was press the charge because they already had it on file,

so what i would do is tell her to call the police and to make a complaint, every time, and then slap her with that, or in ur town there should be bylaws for noise violations, find out what they are, and what the time is that it is up, in our town it is from 6am to 11:00 pm and in between those times the police can't do anything,

but i would really not worry and tell her to mind her business, or call the police, as she has to understand that you can't passably keep children silent, its not healthy and its mean

by the way my neighbour hasnt called the police in about 4 years, lol so it worked, and i didnt have to press charges, but she got the idea.

If the sources with out a doubt belongs to the community, then you actually can take it up consisting of your community association, or whoever is in can charge of retaining the elementary area. If that is city sources (like a park), then you actually can contact someone in the city workplaces. Like others have reported, there is also only talking to the gent. yet another, more desirable underhanded determination, is to easily get him towed. no longer some thing like having to fork over $one hundred fifty to get your vehicle out of tow (and those people do not opt to take heed to sob thoughts). do no longer overlook that any style of unfavorable reaction may bring about escalation, and on the present time and age, you may ask your self no matter if that is what you quite choose.

Kids are going to be kids. Let them play and if she has a problem with it, oh well. Just make sure your children aren't being noisy too early in the morning or late at night.
Maybe let your children play outside more often, if possible.

Contact your landlord. If your apartments allow children then your neighbor is the one with a problem. Quite frankly, I'd ignore the neighbor and tell the children that the neighbor has a problem and pop in a tape or CD with children's music--dance away! If the walls weren't so thin you wouldn't have this problem.

Oh my gosh..........

Make a pretty sign for the outside of your door that says~ "Enjoy the JOYFUL sound of children"

This will send the message. Also DO NOT ANSWER THE DOOR when she knocks. When you see her in the hall during they day, ask her how she is doing. Be pleasant to her. but do NOT worry your kids about NOISE, it is your neighbors problem and she is an adullt. Kids need to be kids, and YOU are doing a great job.

talk to your landlord. explain the problem. tell them that your kids are well behaved and that you try to keep them calm so you don't disturb your neighbor, but she insists on knocking on the ceiling.

ask them if there's anything they can do, b/c you feel it is rude and disruptive. let them know that her kids make lots of noise and she is being very hypocritical.
hopefully, they will be sympathetic.

good luck and take care.

Be Polite...Let your neighbour know you too have children and they are not going to be caged up at her request. Ask your neighbour if they can remember when they were kids..

Second choice: Ignore the neighbour. If it becomes that bad..contact the authorities..Let your neighbour know you feel like you are being harassed...

Have an open dialogue with her. Since she probably naps alot being pregnant, try to work out a schedule where you are more considerate of each other's routines.

You should speak to your neighbour, and explain the situation from your side.

Don't do anything like speaking to the landlord till you've spoken to your neighbour, else this could cause more problems - e.g. more noise from her.
