About Music Programs?

My friend told me that there's a program where you can separately listen to all the different instruments used in a certain song. Like, when listening to a rock song, is there a program where you can choose if you only want to listen to its guitar strumming, or if you only want to hear the bass, or even only hearing the drums. Is there really a program out there? I really need one, thanks.

Yes there is. I used it to remove voice from a song and took the bass off another.
