Green beans, Au Gratin Potatos, Greens, corn bread, Corn (on or off the cob), or you could look on Food Network.com and find something that sounds good that you have never had before...

Take about 7 or 8 medium red potatoes, cut in quarters, put in pan of cold water. Bring to boil and cut until tender (don't peel) When tender to fork, mash with masher (not beater) this will leave a few chunks of potatoes...Use buttermilk, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper to taste..Also use garlic powder to taste..delicious..also try some corn on the cob..you can grill it or just boil it on the stove...buy the frozen biscuits (buttermilk) and bake or if you don't want corn then make a green bean casserole but I am sure it will be good whatever you make...It's the love that you put into it...

Mashed potatoes - homemade - with a little roasted garli and bitter mixed in. Also try a vegetable medley of his favorites. But by far potatoes, boiled and mashed and whipped with butter, milk and roasted garlc are the best.
