i'm into baking and I'd want to know what other nuts will be a good substitute for pecans, with probably the same taste and texture.

any ideas?

Walnuts will definitely be a good substitution. I usually change up between pecans and walnuts when baking. You won't be able to tell that much difference in taste, if at all. Try toasting them in the oven for a few minutes and let them cool before you add them to your recipe. This doesn't take very long and it really brings out the flavor.

It just depends on what you're baking. Walnuts are usually used in place of pecans but it's more of a personal choice.
