A frozen banana and 4 ounces of Meyer's rum. Peel the banana before you freeze it. Milk, chocolate milk, coconut milk, or fruit juice can be substitutes for all or part of the rum.

I start with about 8 ounces of juice. I like a strawberry/banana based juice, but any will do. Special note: I buy my fruits fresh and freeze them, including bananas (peel 1st). I then throw in 1/2 banana, 2-3 strawberries, a small handfull of blueberries, a small handfull of almonds, a good heaping tablespoon of peanut butter, a glug of olive oil, several scoops of Lyon Legacy Mega Greens and then hi the high switch and let 'er blend. I will also on occasion add cereal or granola. The object is to have the fruit frozen so you don't need ice, the peanut butter for protein to carry you till lunch, the oil for fat to burn for energy (the almonds too), the Mega Greens to provide the daily need for veggies and the nuts and cereal for somehting crunchy to chew ( to help start and promote digestion)while you drink this, which is typically thick. Have fun, W

Handful of fresh organic strawberries, large splash of Skimmed Milk, a large dollop of Low fat Greek style Yogurt and a banana. Wizz it up, have a little taste, if it's not sweet enough add a small blob of honey!

Yummy!
You can use the same basic ingredients- skimmed milk and Yogurt and add any other fruits.

i tried a new one last week, you use non-fat strawberry or vanilla yogurt, pineapple, frozen or fresh mango and apple juice with a final squirt of lime. If youre using fresh fruit that isnt cold already, you have to let the smoothie sit in the freezer awhile to get really yummy and cold.
