Because at one time, for those of us who can still remember, we had things to be proud of - our ethics, our morality, our ability to provide industry and work for our own, the ability to take in those who wanted to work and needed a way out of their poverty, we had a freedom of constitutional rights that had never been put in power and worked before in a civilized world, but they were based on a very small set of rules called the Ten Commandments, and somewhere in society around the mid 50's to mid-70's we deemed them no longer important and since then, I don't know that America has a lot to really be proud of, we just still have some things that other countries don't - a right to complain, a right to vote for the least of the most corrupt officials, a right to still get out and go to religious organization of our choosing as long as don't let Jesus go with us, we have a right to no longer be kind and courteous. We have the right to continue to let our nation fall into the condition of a third world country and think we're living high on the hog, when in fact we've already been trampled under and wallowed - most people just haven't your or my perception yet that it has happened.

For those of you who have such great contentment and hatred for this country like biomimet--what ever. Those who burn the flag those who dishonor the ones who laid down their life so you can run around screaming about how much you hate it here. i can and will personally buy you your ticket to the country of your choosing if you will give up your citizenship. Maybe China where the government says what you can say do act or watch.
Maybe Iran so you can be a Muslim cause if your not i Hope your wearing a metal collar.
Maybe to Africa where you can have your own farm. Or Europe where 75% of it was rebuilt by this horrible country. take your pick cause i really don't want you here and i know you want to go!Korea is nice this time of year Communism seems to be your choice so go for it!

To the one who posted this question, Are you high? you write like you are having a seizure. How dare you criticize.... anything. This site does have a spell check which you need to use, it's just too bad there's not and I.Q. check for you.
Additionally, to anyone who is not proud to be American, or to live in America, Why don't you leave? Is it because that everywhere else sucks worse? You are the worst kind of haters. You join the band wagon of bashers, but are too afraid to actually practice what you preach.

People still cry because our leaders have still not learned to stop spilling the blood of it's citizens in the name of freedom / jihad.
Until we all agree to respect each other rather than killing anyone who dosn't agree with our views / way of life than we'll keep making the same mistakes.
But that's idealistic, evoloutionally, it's only 5 minutes since we were living in caves throwing rocks at our neighbours, the attitudes have stayed the same just the techniques have become more complex. Who knows, one day maybe we'll stop trying to end the war and just refuse to fight it anymore - let it burn out rather than try to extinguish it.

i am not an American.
and i can sense that you are not either.
the way you raised that question tells me that you feel that you and/or your nation is better than them. if this is the case, you are the same kind of what you think about them.
and if you are not proud just like them, maybe you are just whining, drowning in self-pity derangement.
seek for a local mental help.
if no local help is available, ask the Americans.
do not insinuate hatred, because hatred you will receive.

I am proud our nation turns to God in times of trouble.
I am proud our nation is basically a God fearing nation. I feel that is why God has blessed America.
I am not proud of the sin that goes on in America.
I am not proud of legalized abortion.
I am not proud of the weak minded people that fall victim to Satan's devises.

We are proud because we live in a country that embraces personal freedoms. We welcome anyone in our country who wants to work, and enjoy life. Stop hating, and join the party.

Just mus-slime propaganda. Slither back in the hole from which you came. Islam: religion of hatred, rape of women and children, exploitation of children, repression of women, religion of terror, religion of the weak and the mentally challenged
