if you mean praying yes we do it 5 times a day .. if you mean to think in focus and in a calm in the world, life and in every aspect around us, we do it too .. God asked us to think in every thing around us to discover the wonderful universe we live in and in his creation ..

Sufi mystics certainly meditate - a lot of the time. Their most famous technique is the recitation of the 99 names of God, and the last name is not pronounced, merely contemplated, for it is too holy to say.

Yes, muslims meditate.
The Egyptian lady downstairs does it several times a day - 5:20 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 6:50 p.m. and sometimes again at 8:50 if her baby's been crying, her kids have been running on the ceiling again and her husband has been fussing. I can hear her chants. Beautiful, and so dedicated. If she can speak to Allah so diligently, I know I can pray more, too. (But if you are reading this, Mrs. Muhammad, could you crank it down a couple notches during the 5:20 session, please? Thanks.)

If you call prayer meditation, then Muslims do meditate.

sometimes read quran.
rarely they sit somewhere and for 40 days think about god and their sins and about holy matters.
(but anyway in such a situation as you said we can say they had halucination!)
