When a strawberry falls to the ground the soft spongy part acts as food for the seed which in turn allows the seed a better chance of growing

Because a strawberry is not actually a berry. It is part of the grape family. All those little seed things on the outside are individual one-seeded fruits (called achenes) which are embedded in the tissue of the strawberry receptacle.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. And so as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.
