I just want to say this question is in the top five. Btw...the minute, I want to thank him in person.

My first inclination is to speak with God and then I realized I can do that all the time, thankfully since Christ died and opened that door. He answers, too, you just have to listen and watch by being very still and knowing that He answers back. So, since I can talk to Him and get an answer, you'd think I'd go with the year to live, but He's got that one figured out, too. I'm going to assume that you mean a two way conversation and YHWH would make Himself HEARD by me...well, that would be just awesome! It would be the f a s t e s t minute of my life, but I'd take it!

Cool Question SS!

I would speak to God for one minute, and ask Him if I could have one year added on my life.. If he says no, then it's my time to be with Him....

I would take one year. I speak to god in my prayers everyday. only the non-believers need proof that god really exsits, I am a believer. I know god is there. I talk to him in my prayers everyday. I don't need that one minute. I rather take that one year, and help people in all the ways i can. I will have 365 more days to help make this world a better place to live. I can inspire numerous lives in 365 days and live life more freely.

Take the one year. Speaking to God for one minute doesn't mean he would speak back!

It would be more phenomenal if God spoke to us and we listened. If you could speak with God for 1 minute, you wouldn't want another year of your life. You would want to go to heaven to be with God.
People who assume that speaking to God is pointless because he either "doesn't exist" or they will "go there anyway" are in for a serious shock.

I talk to God now. So if I had to choose I would take the one year. But I say once I'm through with what I came here for then I can just go head and go. I don't need no extra years. Expecially if I'm ill and can't do for my self.

I would take the minute, assuming that in this 1 minute I actually get to hear his voice and I get to ask him all my little annoying questions like "Did Adam have a belly button" and "Why does everything taste like chicken?" so that he can tell me the answers and I can go on through life knowing the answer to something NONE of you will REALLY know, but.....if i don't get to hear his voice then I the extra year.....

I think just even one minute of talking to God would give me so much more understanding of my won life and strengthen my believes that even without the extra years whatever time I would have would be precious and more valuable …and maybe spend doing good then just enjoying my own life..:)what would you choose??

well, it would depend i guess, if i was told i would only have one year to live i would choose the year, and if i had a whole life time in front of me, i would choose to speak to GOD, it would depend on the situation, but i do talk to GOD every day, and so i think that he might be tired of listening to me, lol so i think he would understand if i chose the year, lol now I'm really thinking, lol

I already speak with God through his Word, but I'd choose one minute to have him hold me in his arms - for that would carry me through how ever many more years he deemed my life to be in need of service.
