today is 16 june public youth day and i am at work in SA?

by 1976 june student were killed by former apartheid goverment, my company wont let go to celebrate with other youth.
stuendts in soweto protest against the use of afrikaans as medium language, but y they cant give holiday to enjoy with other youth
