Of course my dad is walking me down the asile but I am also really close with my grandpa, my dads dad. Does anyone think that it would be alright to ask my grandpa to also walk me down the asile?

When I got married, I had an outside wedding where the steps were part of the aisle. I walked down the steps by myself and met my parents at the bottom of the steps. From there they both walked me down the aisle. I say yes. Its your wedding day. Make it the happiest day of your life. :)

That would be totally fine – you should have whoever has supported you prior to this marriage walk you down the aisle, and if you want to honor your grandfather like that, it sounds great. In a Jewish wedding, both the father and mother walk down the aisle, so this is kind of like a variation on that. You can either have them walk one on each side of you, or both right behind you (if you have space limitations on getting 3 people down the aisle side-by-side). I'm sure your grandpa will love this. :o) Congratulations!

I think its a blessing to have two men you love so much and are so dear to you you want them to walk you down the asile. And there are no laws for this, its your wedding so have it the way you want it. I'm sure dad and granddad will feel honored and proud!

I think two people can walk you down the asile. It's your wedding have it the way you want to. If people dont't like it tell them exactly that. "It's my wedding, I'll have it the way I want to."
Good luck girl.

Yes...my Papa walked me down the isle. He died just under a year later, but I have the video of that wonderful moment of us walking together that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Absolutely! That sounds beautiful. My mom walked me down the aisle. It was simply the best.

Why not? It would be really cool, you'd be, like, the only person doing that and people would say, Aw, this is cute. Don't restrict yourself on your wedding. You should enjoy yourself as how you want it to be. Congratulations, anyway!

Hey, perhaps have your Dad meet you halfway and switch off the gramps.
