You can use it in anything you would normally use milk for. It will just make the recipe richer. Mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, gravy, or just use in coffee, etc.

EVAPORATED MILK COFFEE CAKE

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tall can evaporated milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3 c. flour
Dash of salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk, vanilla and lemon juice. Add nuts. Pour batter in 9x13 inch buttered cake pan or angel food pan. Sprinkle with topping and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

TOPPING:

6 crushed graham crackers
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon


GRANDMA FORONDA'S EVAPORATED MILK
FREEZE

1 pkg. kool aid (any flavor)
1 can evaporated milk (14 1/2 oz.)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water

Place can of milk in freezer and chill one hour. Dissolve sugar and kool aid thoroughly in water. Place chilled milk in cold mixing bowl and whip with egg beater until three times the volume.
Then, add Kool Aid mixture and fold in well. Place in freezing tray and do not disturb until frozen. A delicious, fluffy frozen dessert

There's a recipe i know made out of left overs
take slices of stale or hard bread
1 egg
8 tbsp of water
8 tbsp of milk
beat the egg with the water and the milk. soak the bread slices into it then fry in buttered non stick pan each side until its golden.
keep them warm then dust some sugar powder unto them ..

you can also add the sugar while you beat the egg just if you want them very very sweet...its called ''pain perdu'' in french lost bread in English( i think)

Mix 1 can with the same amount of plain yogurt. Garnish with saffron. Put it in a preheated oven at 350F for 10 minutes. Then cool it in the fridge for 1-2 hrs.

This cheese dip is awesome. i don't ever measure.

I block of Velveeta.
As much hamburger as you like...browned.
Jar of salsa
Can of cream of mushroom soup.
Can of evaporated milk.
