I happen to be a guy of 20...very good looking...But I don't like girls of my age group...I tend to like older women and feel something like love for some of them...Not all of them...I think the reason why it is that way is because I worked in a hotel and I saw lot of young girls coming to the hotel with older men old enough to be their grandfathers....Please don't get me wrong...I am not trying to act like them or make anyone feel bad about their acts...But what I feel is instinctive...I can't just control it...Please what can I do to overcome this personality disoder...Girls often come around,but i don't tend to have their time or even feel any likeness for them..where I work presently..there is this girl that likes me amazingly much but I just shout at her without any reason..treat her bad..I am not doing these things intentionally....they are intuitive...What do I do?

Explain to this girl that you only like older women and are not interested in her. After that, she should back down. If she doesn't, try to be polite to her, but distant at the same time (it's not nice to be rude or treat someone badly). Then pursue a women whom interests you and try to start a relationship there. I guess the best way for this is to accept it, everyone has their own unique type of preferences on the opposite sex. It's probably only society's influence that makes you think that you are in the wrong, but you're really not, if it makes you happy, stick with it.
If not, there are other ways. Test your relationship with older women, see how you feel around them. I guess if you really want to get rid of this ''personality disorder'', theres always the thought of the consequences to think about if you can really think of any. As you try to test your relationship with the older women, why not try the women in your age group first, once you find the right person that you fall in love with, other preferences really wont matter.

And there is a problem here. I know lots of men who go for older women some as many as 10 years older.
My wife is older than me. Not by 8 years mind you, but she is older than me and to be honest, when I was dating prior to marriage, I used to date only women younger than me. In each and every case of a girl younger than me that I considered marrying, the girl broke my heart.
I see nothing wrong with it.

First of all, don't apologize for being turned off because they come in with daddy-like partners. Don't let it get to you. Don't let it allow you to react to other young women. There will always be this kind of girl who likes much older men. It's not your business and you shouldn't allow it to effect you. Stop thinking about it.
Maybe if you went out with this girl who likes you, it might change your feelings and the way you act towards her. Don't pay attention to who the guests are either. Just relax.

There is nothing wrong with liking older women but there is something wrong that you are mistreating that young lady. Think about your relationship with your mom or mother-figure and that may explain why you are attracted to older women. I do not think you have a personality disorder but I do think that you have issues with respect concerning younger ladies!

You'd better not treat the girl like that coz she doesn't do anything to make you so angry & find for yourself a good partner ASAP!
Hmm... I think it is not because you like older women. Even younger ones can lure you but it's not time... and you should wait for a good chance... hah... the problem is yourself. Try to interact with the more ppl the better.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with desiring older women. there are plenty of older women that desire younger men. women reach their sexual peak at around 30-35, while men reach it in their late teens and early twenties...
i don't think you should consider this a personality disorder. go out and find yourself an older woman! i'm sure you'll be happy.

First of all, its not unhealthy. Let me try to explain. If a guy was close to their mother growing up, then later on in life he usually tried to find a woman similar to his mother. Same with daughters and fathers. I can't think of anything else. Hope that helps. Oh and be nicer to people your age, you should grow out of it in a while, maybe. There is nothing wrong with a good MILF

I personally don't like younger guys but I know some women who do. It's just a matter of taste. If you like older women then you just do. Why fight it?
