Absolutely YES.

Firstly, it will be first time that you officially can earn money full time. You can save money and travel the world, visit many places, visit many resorts, meet many people at work, form new friendships, meet a life partner get married and have babies...

Life start only after collage.

And to find a good job?
1. write a good Cv with all your accomplishments
2. Get nice look: good outfit fit for interview, nice and neat hair, soft make up if you a girl.
3. Go via net and search 'best behaviour on interview.
4. Go visit companies, and ask people you know if anyone knows some company who needs people like you
5. VERY NB!!! you must look pretty and smile smile smile (people would want you around, the job seeking will be easier)
6. Get newspapers and look for jobs, go to agencies, as they get profits they will gladly look for a job for you

etc etc and once you have a job, I suggest you dont move out straight away. Rather stay with your parents and save. You dont have to tell them exactly how much you urning in case they will ask you to pay for rental etc (ok, I know this is ugly advise). Try to save money for a deposit to buy a small place (investment) etc etc Good Luck

Our there any more meals after breakfast? You are in the dawn of your life. Most people right out of college take some RR, and then start hitting the pavement for their trained profession. Be sure to have a great resume wrote for potential employers. If you have any letter of references also make those available too. Look for job openings in you daily newspaper, or go to the unemployment office for assistance. You can also check for jobs over your computer. Keep your ears open and let people know what line of work you are looking for. If you have any friends or relatives working at a place that you might be interested in, talk to these people and see if they will put in a good word for you. As far as establishing credit history, you will need a job to secure a loan. After about 6 months with your job, try borrowing money from the bank that you have a checking or saving account with. If they are reluctant to give you this loan, then be prepared to put something up for colateral. Pay this loan back as fast as you can, and always on time. Stay away from getting a lot of credit cards. When you apply for a credit card shop around for the best interest rate, and make sure your limit always stays around a comfortable amount, in the beginning between $500 to $1000. Try to always pay the balance in full each month. If you can't then pay as much as you can, never just pay the minium amount do. This is a poor habit. You need to practice will power. Always make sure you have several hundred dollars on your card for emergency expenses. Paying with cash and using your debit card is the best habit to get into. After about a year, and keeping on track with you new job, establishing credit, and budgeting your money the smart way, then you are going to be ready to get your own place. Most leases require, 6 months at least with your present job, credit history, and usually rental history. But if your credit looks good and your job is going well, you might get by that one. If not then you may need a co-signer for at least 6 months. And after that you could request they take them off. This is a good place to begin. I hope you all the best in your journey.

Depends on what u call 'life'. For me, its being able to contribute something meaningful to society and maybe to yourself and your family. You are not going to do that when u are stoned and/or gettibg laid while in college.
So really, maybe life does begin after college

To be independent after college, one just has to grow up and be responsible. Pay bills on time, budget your money, that kinda stuff.

Learn to make decisions that are in your best interest, even though you may not like them. (for example eating healthy, exercising, not partying every night, etc.)

And when you learn how to do all this, fill me in!
