If you are asking if Chevy Chase banking is related to Chase Manhattan, that answer is no also. Chevy Chase Bank is from the city of Chevy Chase Maryland, the actor also stole his name from that city. Chase Manhattan (Now JPMorgan Chase) got the "Chase" portion of their name from Salmon Portland Chase who was Secretary of Treasury (or Similar) under Abraham Lincoln and whose face appears on the $10,000 US treasury bill.

No. He's an actor, comedian, and writer. He was born Cornelius Crane Chase, the son of a Manhattan book editor. His maternal grandfather was a naval admiral who was involved in the Battle of Midway during the Second World War. He was named for his adoptive grandfather who lived in a huge estate in New England.
