he acts gay around boys but i dont know if he is... i can't ask him as it would ruin our friendship... HELP!

Well, if you are good enough friends, you should be able to ask him. But in the long run, does it really matter? What will that change?

From what you've said he probably is gay or bi but honestly does it matter? I know what you mean about asking him and I went through the same thing with my mate. In the end he never told me, he came out to a group of gay and bi people who later on told people and it spread around school. It never harmed our friendship and we both can chat about hot guys together!! From my experiance I'd advise you to leave it and in his own time he'll come out just be a mate for him, whether he's gay or not really isn't an issue. xx

Ask him if he has ever thought about men as more than friends. He may be in the closet. Just be there and let him know what a good friend you are and that you will be there no matter what. There are times when you can talk about anything because the conversation is so intense. There is a right time "wait".

I would ask,it can be asked in a respectful manner. He could be, he could be Bi, what if he is or not? If you are his friend you can still be his friend no matter what his preference. Are you just curious or uncomfortable about it? He also has the choice to be your friend if you ask him. A true friend will be honest with you and you need to be honest with your question, wondering can put pressure on you and the relationship as friends! Good Luck!

a good general rule to follow is that if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it probably is a duck.
if someone acts gay around boys like you say, they are as queer as the wind.
any self-respecting hetero guy would never do this.
if you ask him, he'll probably throw some fit saying how dare you say that he's gay. only someone gay would say this. i hope this helps you.

why does it matter? if he is he needs to come and tell you when he's ready. dont push it if hes that good of a friend give him some space and time. My friend didnt comeout to me until like 5 years.
