It might be spelled wrong. People with both bodyparts. It seems like no matter what, they are going to have problems. Also, are they allowed in the army?

Thats what I whant to know.... epshealy sence I'm in love with one and deffently intend to marry hir.

Generaly speaking though they just throw them in with what ever the can best pass off as.... sence hermaphrodites are such a small porstion of the population they really don't wana go through all the truble of making a third gender.... even to include all intergendered.... it would be to much truble from the clerical stand point, lots and lots of paper work!

Fact is though only 1/1000 people are intergendered, of them many of them are forcfully altered sergicly to resimble male or female (rather with there parents aproval or often in some places with out there knowlage).

Of the people born intergendered there are 1/100 that are true hermaphrodites having fully developed male and female sexes (though usaly both infertal). Of those many are also altered.

So at the best only about 1 in 100,000 people are hermaphrodites, and thats if they aren't suergicaly altered after birth or later in life.

Hermaphrodites, even tho they have the genitalia for both genders, usually only one will be fully functional. Its very rare for a hermaphrodite to have both male and female full working genitals. So they would likely have to be with the opposite gender of their working parts. Also, hermaphrodites are generally sterile. They cannot reproduce as their genetic code is not correct and will not split into the proper genome sequence.

No easy answer there. Society is all about fitting everything into its own tidy little compartment. We don't always, as members of society, take into consideration the problems associated with not being able to fit into those compartments. Good luck to anyone trying to find their way with this problem. :)

I think they would be great with other hermaphrodites. Every night would be an orgy.
