My budget is $300, i like the looks and features of the Kodak EasyShare Z650, Panasonic Lumix® DMC-LZ2, and the Sony Cyber-shot® DSC-W70. Anyone have these cameras? Or have anyother suggestions? I am not a pro, i want clear images, i like extra zoom, i like a small design, and bells and whistles are not much of a loss or gain. Please suggest...

The question "model X vs. Y vs. Z?" pops up a lot here.
For in depth and honest reviews of digital cameras (including value for money), there are two great sites. See if they have a full review of the models you're considering:

At dpreview you can aso compare the technical specifications of those cameras side by side:

Best wishes!

undoubtedly, in all the three sony cybershot is the best as because,in picture quality sony is the no 1 and also it is very user friendly, for a beginner like you it is the best choice.but make sure it megapixels should be more than 5.0 for the model you are looking for.

We purchased a sony S40 and it gives us great pictures. The clarity is too good, feels like u are seeing things directly and not from a photo.
