Mat 24:30 And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch is still tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mat 24:33 So you, likewise, when you see all these things, shall know that it is near, at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.
Mat 24:35 The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away.
Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.
Mat 24:39 And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:40 Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41 Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:42 Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.
Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the steward of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be dug through.
Mat 24:44 Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.
Mat 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has made ruler over His household, to give them food in due season?
Mat 24:46 Blessed is that servant whom his Lord shall find him doing so when He comes.
Mat 24:47 Truly I say to you that He shall make him ruler over all His goods.
Mat 24:48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delays His coming,
Mat 24:49 and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken,
Mat 24:50 the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he does not look for Him, and in an hour which he does not know.
Mat 24:51 And He shall cut him apart and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mar 13:32 But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
Mar 13:33 Take heed, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time is.
Mar 13:34 As a man going away, leaving his house, and giving authority to his servants, and each man's work to him, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.
Mar 13:35 Then you watch, for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, at evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or early;
Mar 13:36 lest he come suddenly and find you sleeping.
Mar 13:37 And what I say to you, I say to all. Watch.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

To Christians that believe in the 'Rapture'...READ CAREFULLY what it says and take those scriptures back to the Greek & Hebrew. The individuals on here that keep mentioning 1 Thessalonians are not getting it. Every book in the bible has a subject matter and you must know the subject matter so you can rightly divide the Word. Most Christians that believe in the Rapture (& I used to be one of them) believe that they will not endure the tribulation and also believe that they will not be here to see the emergence of Satan and the Anti-Christ. Well, YOU WILL. Don't stop at 1 Thessalonians continue reading...and you will then come to Paul's 2nd letter (II Thessalonians.) he wrote to the Thessalonians regarding Christs Return and which will occur first. Paul wrote another letter because so many were being mislead and kept hearing rumors about how and when Christ would return. Satan is the one which comes first, and he will come as the 'son of the morning light' imitating Christ and he will bring world peace and perform counterfiet miracles, signs and wonders! Paul is reminding us that Satan will come first. Then, after his rebellion Christ will return. Documentation:II Thessalonians 2:1-12 Moreover; Satan is revealed at the opening of the first seal and Christ does not come until after the 7th trump!(Revelations 6:1-2 & Rev:11:15) Look and read all the things that will occur before the 7th trump. If you believe you will be raptured before this time you are the perfect candidate that can and will be fooled when Satan comes first. Because after all the scripture clearly states that 'IF' it 'WERE' possible, even GOD's ELECT would be mislead. READ and learn. When Christ does return we will reign on this earth for 1000 years! We will not be ascending to the sky on a cloud! Be careful. So many teachers are teaching this false doctrine and Satan is counting on that!!! Remember: always check what you hear against the scriptures. You don't have to believe me...read it for yourself.

Yes, cause the bible tell us so.. Its in the book of Corinthians.. i don't have it right now. but i try to get back to you later.. There is also a tribulation. Some believe that rapture will take place before tribulation. Others believe it will take place in the middle of 7 years tribulation.. while others believe it will take place after tribulation.. but first you have to be a christian or a person having faith with JESUS CHRIST berofe any person be included in the rapture. Right its on Matt 24. and 1 thess.4

The rapture doesn't appear in the bible. It is a concept brought about in the late 1800s based on one line of the bible. Some people didn't want to have to bother with the whole tribulation thing I guess.

Personally I would not hold my breath. Seems a little illogical, no? People originally thought it would definatley happen in the first 100 years efter the crucifixition. When this was not fulfill, the date kept being pushed back further and further.
My advice to you? Be the best you can be; don't worry; be HAPPY.
God (or whatever) be with you.

the rapture is within you... right now... just have to realise it... not something that is going to arrive in the future... but, something that has always been within the substratum of the universe... and individual human beings will come to realise this truth at their own pace and that would be their rapture... at least thats what i believe. :-)
