Call the manufacturer! They can tell you how old it is by the numbers on the can. Usually, canned food lasts for years unless the top is swelling. Open the can. If it's spoiled, throw it away.

I think the answer to this one is 5 years. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. This is one of those "survival" foods.
