We follow a religion. If we have eyes and ears working, we hear and see what our parents, teachers, preachers say and start beliving whatever they say. But, if a person is completely blind and deaf, what religion he will have. No one can teach him about christianity, or bhuddhism or any other religion.

My question is not idiotic. My question has a inner meaning.

Every person has a perfect Soul regardless of what the body lacks. It is our True essence as a spirit that is never lost.

We live in a time and age where there are so many technological advances for the blind and deaf. They can now communicate great with laptops. A hearing person can type on the laptop and the attachment to the laptop has a braille reader, it types out the braille letters in live while the person is typing, so they can read with their fingers what is being typed.

Also they can type back on the laptop and read what they typed on the attachment to make sure it is spelled correctly, and the other person can read what is typed on the monitor.

Some know sign lanugage and communicate by a touch-form of sign in between hands and on the body.

I have been deaf since I was about 10 months old, and I've always been very spiritual and knew there existed something greater than myself. What my body lacked in no way diminished how perfect my spirit is. Nor should a blind and deaf person. You'd be surprised.

As far as what religion, that is the same question you would ask a hearing person. It is not what they lack that would determine what religion they follow. It is an individual basis. Each person is different, walking different paths regardless of whether they can see or hear.

You say "no one can teach him about christianity, or buddhism or any other religion" stems from ignorance that one cannot teach a blind and deaf person anything. Of course they can be taught many things.

Do this exercise, blindfold yourself and plug your ears, now ask yourself "Can I learn anything? If someone taught me how to communicate using the laptop, can I still learn anything about religion?"

One does not need eyes or ears to learn about God!

what is the definition of religion to you? if you are saying thatreligion is just about hearing the preaching or seeing them then i [think] that you are totally wrong. why i said so? because if it happens to be like that then religion is for the people that is not blind and deaf only. If someone is blind and/or deaf, he must not have a religion.

well, what i learn is like this. Religion is a philosophy that teaches human or people to do good things and avoid doing bad things. that is the very basic teaching from every religions. So, it means that someone who is blind and/or deaf, if he does good things and avoids bad things then he already have a religion. it doesn't matter what kinds of religions you follow. It's some what better though if you are blind and/or deaf since you can not listen to other's bad influence and good influence as well. you are as pure as the mountain water.

The question appears to be couched in ignorance. Persons who are deaf and blind and still be communicated with using various forms of sign language given in the hand. Therefore they can get information about Christianity, or anything else that can be communicated.

Whatever religion they are taught. Just because they are blind and deaf does NOT mean they cannot communicate. Infact, there is a type of sign language that is commonly used in JUST THAT SITUATION. You sign into the palm of the other person.

What about Helen Keller? She was blind, deaf, and mute (for a while). Yet her teacher taught her many things, including about God. Just because someone has physical barriers doesn't classify them as being beyond education -- religious or otherwise.

God never leaves us! our parents and anything in this world may vanished, but the love of our God never fades. So even the deaf & blind knows what to do because It is their heart that is their parents & their mind will be the teacher. And our Lord God is thier eyes by guiding them. God will always knock their hearts.
