At what age? I was 5'9" in grade 8 and never got taller. I am male and was active, but not an "athlete." I was about 135 lbs till 40 and felt GREAT. I did loose 30 lbs later - by changing eating habits and not eating any more than I really needed - reg meals - normal portions. Goodies only on truly special occasions. Enjoyed food more that way! I'm now 5'8" and about 180 lbs for several dumb reasons. It's much harder to change habits when you gotta loose 40 or 50 pounds. Saw my dad do it in his 70's and it made a real difference in living with his heart condition! Right now, I really can't exercise. Bummer!

I depends on your body frame (small, medium, large). If you have large skeletal frame it's not nearly as harmful as if you had a small bone structure. If you start exercising, you're going to gain muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat.

Diet for health. The 'perfect body' image has been one of the longest running scams in history.

I'd like to imagine you being curvy, not large. 150 .lbs is a good weight. :-)

That's very normal. My g/f is also 5'9", and she too weighs 150. She's in pretty good shape too, so I would say that you're just right.

For 5'9", which is tall for a girl, it seems like a reasonable weight to me.
