I am 26 year old woman who is thinking about searching for my father. The only reason I want to is to know another side of my family.

You're the only one who can answer your question. If you want to know your father's side of the family, you should go for it. You should though be prepared for whatever happens whether it be rejection or they welcome you with open arms.

I'm only 22, but I've never meet my father. I've thought about it. But how would it affect his life? What would his wife think if a 22 yr old daughter came out of the woodworks? Then again, mine doesn't know i exist. You should do whatever you think would make you happy. Find Him.

i would realy wanna find out about my father if i really dont know about the other side of my family. surely i would suggest u to do so as quickly as you can.

if there was any reason to get to know that side of your family you wouldn't have to find your father.
he would stay in touch if he cared. by finding him you're risking learning that he's some sort of horrible person, and he may try to use you for money.

Maybe, it depends on if he was a piece of crap or not in the past. Does he deserve for you to become part of his life, has he made an effort?

Go for it. You need not justify your actions because you are his daughter. Surely, sooner or later, he somehow feels that you'd find him. You need to know who your father is and he needs to know you, too! :)
