I have a 7 y/o daughter that loves to learn!! What are some good web sites for her to learn about animals? She loves to learn about all kinds of different animals and she is an excellant reader, and does really well on the computer. So, does anyone know of some kid-friendly web sites??

www.abc.net.au/children and follow the links to Creature Features. Its a great show on ABC all about animals but im not sure when it shows these days.

If she likes garfield, there is a Garfield website that has all kinds of educational activities, grouped by age/grade. She can practice math facts, science problem, reading problems and more, all with Garfield. Its a website made in conjunction with Ball state university.

www.pbs.org they have fun coloring and stuff plus things for you to learn about your kids. Also, try things like Yahoolagins or whatever..that is safe for your child to play on...
