Yes, using a good hair mousse does help. It's best applied on wet hair, give extra volume. I wouldn't recommend any Indian brand mousse though (like Lakme). It's easy to get imported products in a big city like Kolkata. There must be shops there which stock imported things like chocolates, sunglasses, shampoos, conditioners, cosmetics etc. Here's the best place to get a hair mousse. Just check online for product reviews before you buy one. Also, visit/call some upmarket salons in your city (like Mumbai has Juice and B:Blunt), some of them sell these products.

please, whatever you do, dont use mousse... use a volumizing gel... but not mousse.
why would you want to purposely put butane and propane ON YOUR HAIR?!?
