My hair is naturally wavy, but I always straighten it. I'm sick of my straight hair bc it always looks so flat. What will work and what products should I use?

It sort of depends on how wavy your hair is, but this might work ... When you're in the shower, brush some conditioner through your hair with a wide toothed comb. Leave it in for a few minutes, and then rinse. When you get out, scrunch it dry with a towel. Then use either gel or mousse for curly hair and scrunch it in. Becareful not to brush your hair, not even with your fingers. Either let it air dry, or if you want it to be curlier, blow dry it with a difuser. Set the hair dryer on high heat and either low or medium air so that it doesn't go fuzzy. Gently place the hair into the difuser and scrunch it up towards your scalp. Hold it there, with the hair dryer on of course, for as long as possible. Do this in sections with your hair until it is almost completely dry. Then do the same thing with the cold setting until your hair doesn't feel hot anymore. Remember, heat styles and cold sets the style. If you want more volume, do the whole process with your head upsidedown.

1st, a RadioHead fan?
There are products available specifically for accenting curly hair. I personally recommend balms. They are designed to define curl, and protect against humidity, while leaving the curl pliable. Gels can be crunchy, and flakey, leaving the hair motionless and looking fake. Balms are usually lightly oil based, which helps block humidity and frizz, while gels are alchohol based, and can dry hair further.
Spoil yourself and your hair by buying products that are guarenteed. Salon products may cost a little more, but they are better for your hair in the long run!
Hope this helps!
