I'm looking to play a prank on a friend of mine, and in order to complete this prank I need to know what drink or drink mixture tastes the least like alcohol? Which is the most passable cocktail that I can use to get this guy a little tipsy without him knowing that he's drinking alcohol.

That is a terrible thing to do! You dont know if he had a headache so he took some medication for it, how he will react to the alcohol, what will happen to your friendship when he finds out that you spiked his drink. Just dont play with something like that.

Haha I think that would be hillarious. The best way for you to do it would probably be to mix some alcohole with a drink so you can make an excuse for what he is drinking (which he would think is just like soda or something). The alcohole used would vary because what i have tried really the only alcoholes that dont taste like it are ones that have their very own distinct flavour. But you could try mix a little bit of really high vodka or something into each drink he has, but not so much that he can taste it. Or you could try mix in one that doesn't taste like alcohole much like Madori so long as he hasnt tried it before so wont recognise the flavour. Good luck dude thats gunna be so funny

That is a crime, which I believe in most states is a felony. I'd strongly suggest you think about what you are planning to do. This "guy" may have a good reason for not drinking. Also he could be taking medication that could seriously interact with alcohol. Getting him a little tipsy could kill him.

Ethanol, like water, has no actual flavor. What we taste when we drink alcohol is the impurities, not the alcohol itself.
Everclear is 95% pure ethanol and has no flavor (just a hellacious burn). Everclear is drinkable, but NO ONE should drink it straight. When mixing, remember that one third of an ounce of Everclear is stronger than a 12 ounce beer.
That being said, I don't recommend pulling this prank. Safety and medical considerations aside, it's just not cool to get somebody drunk when they don't know it and aren't prepared for it.

Unfortunately, the most important factor if you're going with hard liquor is quality of booze. The cheaper the booze, the more nasty aftertaste it's going to have. I've heard a good non-taste combination is Jones Soda green apple with apple Pucker.
The alcohol content in Pucker is not very high though, so you'll have to be patient, and he'll have to be thirsty.
If you want to go just with the classics (vodka, scotch, rum, tequila, etc) you're best bet is to get an expensive vodka and mix it with soda, juice, etc.

Gee why don't you lace a coke with a barbituate, some GHB, a little cocaine and a marijuana sprig. What is the difference? Alcohol is a drug. It is no different than these more harsh narcotics. This is a terrible prank. Your friend may have religious beliefs or severe allergies or siezures and can not tolerate. I will say a prayer for you........and your friend.

That is one hell of a way to loose a friend quick. Plus you don't mention ages and if you both are under age for drinking YOU could serve some jail time for such a prank too. Plus if your friend gets hurt after drinking what ever you fix there's always the posibility of him/her getting injured and then you are in one hell of a fix.
Don't be a damned fool, forget the idea.

Not a good prank. NOT FUNNY if there turns out to be a good reason for that person not drinking. ie....alcoholic(who can't handle drink), or medical problems where drinking can hospitalize or even kill them! I'm a bartender by trade.... I repeat.... NOT FUNNY. NOT a prank. Can have serious consequences.

I don't think you should do something like that. If the guy has a bad reaction to the alcohol then you're not gonna feel so hot about this thing. Seriously, I just wouldn't do it.
