Your customers are likely to come from upscale neighborhoods and the business community. I would work them both since they are usually intertwined. Image means everything in your business. Make sure that your business cards, stationary, brochures, and presentation materials are first class and project the image you wish to convey.

You might want to join the local Chamber of Commerce. Get involved with the organization and attend the meetings. Always have a pocket full of cards and brochures. The contacts you will make will be valuable.

You might also want to get involved in charitable causes. You might offer to plan events at a deep discount in order to get known in the right circles. Look it as an investment.

You get the idea. Everyone you meet is a potential client. Always be ready to sell yourself and your service. Eventually, you will have a client base that you must constantly protect and nurture. Word of mouth will do the rest as you grow.

Good luck with your new business.

There are a lot of advertising methods. Ads in the paper are good and cheap. Also you can get free (you pay S&H) bussiness cards from vistaprint.com. Hand them out to eveyone you meet for maximum exposure.
