Cisrcumcision was a sign of the convenant between God and the Israelites. But the arrival of Jesus and his ministry replaced this covenant made between the two and made the old irrelevant. Why do christians around the world still continue this practice when it has no meaning?

Jesus and his ministry did not totally replace all of the covenant's made by God and the Israelites. You still follow the ten commandment's right? As far as circumcision, some say there is no medical reason at all to have it done, others say it is cleaner. I think the true answer is that you have to follow your own heart on this issue and if you choose circumcision then there are a great number of local numbing medications available to provide some pain relief for the baby boy!

It is not a Christian requirement as the Jews rejected their messiah, and lost God's favour as a nation. Gods people became 'spiritual jews' including all the nations - of course that included/includes faithful Jews. The early Christians and faithful Jews did struggle with this whole circumcision things for a while after Christ's death.
Now people do it because for men, and especially for their wives, it is a healthy sanitary practice. Sometimes an uncircumsized baby's foreskin does not grow with the penis, and this causes irritation, risk of infection, and then of course increased pain.
Sometimes they can recover on their own, but it can be a very stressful circumstance to the parents of that baby, and obviously the baby too. To avoid further problems circumcision is agreed upon.
It is not a law though and it is a personal choice amongst parents - often after consultaion with a doctor.

First - Jesus and his ministry didn't replace God's covenant but verified it! The old covenants are not irrelevant at all but stand as strong today as the day they were made!

As to continuing the practice, old habits don't easily fade away.

All covenants have meaning, I think you are confusing Jesus coming and fulfilling the laws with convenient. Laws were made for man to live by because we are so hard to teach. Covenants are promises made, and have physical signs. Such as the rainbow. All convenient are still in effect. Christians are people included in being the chosen people, it opened to us in the new testament. We are not obligated to enter into that convenient, however most of choose to be, and there fore still opt for it, not to mention for health reasons. Why not do it is my question?

Because, like so many other things, the deceiver has tricked us into teaching our traditions as God's word and or will.

BTW - God didn't really know what He was doing when He created that little flap of flesh. American Christians know better and in the name of cleanliness whack it off their newborns. One of us should submit a memo to God on this. Anyone not have an action item from this meeting and be willing to take this to the Lord in prayer?

Christians don't continue it as a religious practice. Circumcision has no meaning for us in the context of religion. The people who practice circumcision now do it for health and sanitary reasons.
