Belly fat is usually from diet as opposed to exercise. Up the cardio and lower the calories and fat. New research says 3 servings of dairy a day help w/ belly fat. You also tend to retain water in your stomach so drink a ton of water and keep your salt intake low - though this is only a temporary solution.

It's also possible to bulk up the lower abs and make them appear even bigger. When you do crunches, make sure you're pulling your bellybutton to the floor - your stomach should arch in toward the floor... not stick out.

Another great exercise for pulling in the stomach is supporting yourself w/ your arms and pulling your knees up to your chest or sticking your legs straight out depending on your strength.

Pilates also does a great job w/ streamlining your core...try the "hundred" - lay back in a crunch position...with legs either bent, up off the floor and bent, or straight out depending on your strength. lift your neck/head while facing straight up to the ceiling - lifting your nose up, not chin down. quickly pump your arms up and down (100 times) moving them just a couple inches at your side. time this carefully w/ your breathing while holding your stomach in (i.e. 5 pumps breathing in 5 pumps breathing out).

Unfortunately... really "in shape" women tend to have belly fat - it's the last thing to go and lowering your body fat % via diet and cardio is usually the only way to go. This and the inner thighs are primary areas people get lipo b/c they are so hard to reduce and there's no way to spot train.

Good luck!

First, double check your exercise routine. It should be about three hours a week, maybe a little more. Too much exercise without eating well causes your body to hold on to it's energy supply, which means no fat loss. If you find yourself tired all the time, you are probably working too hard, or not eating enough.

How well are you eating? You could try keeping a food diary. when your stomach sticks ouWhen you start, don't worry about counting fat or calories, just notice how much and what you are eating. Start learning what foods are good and bad.

Just seeing it written down can be a surprise - you don't always notice how much you really eat when you eat it, but you sure notice when you see your tummy in the mirror at the gym.

Watching what you eat helps you stay focused and eat healthier. If you are gaining weight or not seeing results after a month, start adding up every calorie, to find the best way for you to either cut back your eating, or add some healthy protein or fat sources.

Don't work out - work in.
I mean, give up the conveniences which make us lazy and don't get us the exercise we should instead of trying to pump iron at the gym after having a jumbo lunch with a diet coke for token.

Instead of using disposable cups for coffee, why don't you use china cups and wash them afterwards. It would pollute less, waste less paper and consume less trees while you'll be having some exercise also.
Walk or bike to work.
Use your arms to carry stuff instead of a trolley.
Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
Have a good breakfast, moderate lunch and very light dinner.
Get up early and go to bed early.
Have at least 8 glasses of water.
Avoid having tea/coffee/soft drinks 5 hours before going to bed.
Try to give up aerated drinks.
Do the dishes.
Do your laundry by hand instead of taking it to the washning machine. It really helps. Use a clothesline to dry and iron your clothes yourself.

Do the exercise of lying on your back and lifting both your legs together at an angle of 45 degrees without bending at the knees and keep holding the posture for 5 minute intervals. Do this 6 times a day with 2 minute rest in between.

When you have hunger pangs have fruit slices or fruit juice instead of snacks.
Indulge yourself once in a week - having a pastry/cake which has calories - it would keep you motivated and not make it a crash diet.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Get tummy tuck surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.
