The first thing a person must do is to put everything you think you know about religion aside and try to think the way GOD wants us to think.
Sainthood is a religious idea of the Catholic Church, nothing more. Any person that goes to Heaven is a what you call a saint. I call them a child of God.
So the answer to your question is simple. Its you and me in Christ Jesus the Lord.

Simple - obey God's voice, live by His commandments and keep His covenant - and one will be holy as He is holy.
To walk with God, by God's ways, walk holy as He is holy.
Then one will be a saint.
Unfortunately this can never be achieved by Church teachings.
But if you find the path that God wants you to walk on, anyone can be holy in God's eyes. Part of that path is to obey His commandments, something the Church doesn't do - they have forsaken God's commandments (Torah).

What is SIN? Who is SIN free. ? Will a sinner continue to be sinner. There is no CONFESSION to save him from the sins and wash off.
TRUE REPENTENCE of ones own sin makes him or her free.
RENUNCIATION of worldly pursuits/pleasures and a bsecluded life of penance and selfless service to society and constant meditation and prayers make one to achieve sainthood.

The saints refered to in the Bible are those who have accepted God's gift of eternal life. It has nothing to do with how good you are.

Christianity is paganism and pagans have Gods for all kinds of things. Saint is just another word for "God."

We are all called to be saints and share in God's ecstasy. After all our goal is the Kingdom of God. "Heaven".

God created mankind, to fellowship with Him lovingly. mankind created religion and religion created and put in place everything between our individual relationship God intended us to share directly.
When one truly gives their heart to the Father, thru Christ they are forgiven their sins past present and future. and become sinless, in our Fathers eyes.
