It feels like home, but I still can't speak that way. Family from there, but I grew up elsewhere. Bummer.

I adore it! I find myself trying to speak with that accent when I'm around my friend who has a New Orleans accent! hehe

To be perfectly honest, it is difficult to understand. People use words that are not correct but rather local slang sometimes and run their words together. I really have to listen carefully to understand them and then I wonder just how much I miss.
