It depends what kind of tickets you are buying. A lot of time tickets for air, amusement parks, etc. are non-transferrable, so you want to be cautious.
If you are wanting to buy from eBay, just be sure that it is a reputable seller and that you can get PayPal Buyer Protection. I believe only certain purchases are covered from PayPal in case of fradulent activity.
Just be very careful and consider the risks of buying with the seller you are looking at over purchasing from a more reputable company.

Tickets for what?? I do not suggest using Pay Pal for travel. Use a website that has a direct payment system, or if they offer Pay Pal as an option, make sure they are a well known reputable company.

Usually pay pal is pretty safe but make sure to buy from reputable sites. Don't buy tickets off of ebay they are usually fake.

Yes pay pall is the best! they follow through with complaints as well as fraudulent claims. I use them all the time. This is pay-pals email address, for emails you receive from "pay-pal", never respond to an email before forwarding it to spoof@paypal.com. They will respond within hours to let you know if it is a valid email or not.
