My child has been acting tired and vomiting all day. Is it possibly because I got mad at her when she was crying and shook her this morning?

If you shook your baby even a little bit you need to take her to the hospital ASAP.. especially if she has been vomiting all day, even if the vomiting is not from shaking her she could be dehydrated.. but you can kill her if you shake her because her body and brain aren't developed yet!

Yes! Take her to the emergency room immediately! You can cause brain damage and sometimes shaken baby syndrome can kill the child.

You also need to tell the doctor that this happened and they will have to call child services on you and more likely take your child from you. What you did was abuse.

You really need to take your baby to the hospital. Your baby's' brain is very gentle, imagining an egg in a cup, and you shaking it it can be permanent damage and she can either die, or stay in a coma the rest of her life. You need to seek help ASAP.! GOOD LUCK. PRAY ON IT!!!

omg! why does m.a.t start off with "why don't women have....."

why do you put all women in a catagory?I feel like you are talking crap all every female I know!
Why not rephrase the question? Why don't men put as much time into helping their wives raise their kids as they do running around or watching tv,,???? Anyone can shake a child, don't just be blaming the women. My wife and all my daughters are women and none of them shake the kids.
