Sweet n Sour Meatballs, Prepare meatballs as usual . There are a couple variations for the sauce. 1st one, 1/3 C white vinegar. 1 tsp vegetalble oil. 1 tsp soy sauce.1/2 C sugar. 1/4 tsp salt. 1 clove garlic ,crushed. 2 Tbs. cornstarch. 2 Tbs. cold water. 1/2 C chicken broth or water. Heat up sugar, broth, vinegar, oil, soy sauce, salt , garlic to boiling in a 2 quart sauce pan, stirring occassionally. Mix cornstarch and water and stir in the sugar mixture. Mix all ingredients , then place in crock on low temp. Some people say the secret ingredient for this recipe is 1 C grape jelly. Good Luck.

"This is a slow-cooker recipe for meatballs made of ground beef combined with onion and egg. They are simmered for 4 to 5 hours with chili sauce, grape jelly, and lemon juice."
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 pinch salt
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle
chili sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup grape jelly
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, combine beef, egg, onion and salt. Mix together, then shape into little balls.
2. In a slow cooker combine chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly. Stir in meatballs and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.

I've done this plenty of times in the crockpot and people love it. I use frozen meatballs, fill a small crockpot half full with the meatballs, add 10 oz jar of chili sauce (Heinz is one brand) and 10 oz jar of grape jelly. Heat on low for several hours, stirring occasionally. Sounds weird but it's yummy!

I found crock pot reciped on the internet by typing in crock pot recipes. There are tons of sites out there, you just have to do some searching. Good luck.

I agree with the post that said to add chili sauce and grape jelly. I have a recipe like this as well. They are excellent!
