Around 3+ weeks after her heat you can take her to the vet for an xray this will show if she is pregnant but not neccessarily exactly how many pups you have. If you want to avoid this expense then around the same time you will notice some of her nipples swell and even earlier you may notice a personality change, she may be reserved but craving attention from who she is closest too, tired, just "off" her normal self. Some females vomit a bit in the early stage. Her abdomen won't really show growth until 5 weeks or so in my experience. Good luck, we're looking after 9 - 6 week old pups right now!
